Choosing something we wanted to do comes in different factors. These factors may include your family, financial matter, environment, and your personal growth. For family, you will be considering them if what you will do will become the augmentation of their future statuses. For financial matters, if this choice will cost you a lot or if you have the means to afford it. Will you work faster in a remote place, considering the status of your environment? And what challenges would hinder you from working effectively? Finally, will this choice will provide you personal growth or any growth within your being?

Overcoming My Doubts

I remember seeing a lot of advertisements on Facebook about becoming a Freelance Virtual Assistant. I haven't minded this since I still have a stable job. But, unfortunately, something happened that needs to be acted upon, even if it means I had to let go of this job that I had cared for for a long time. My husband supported my decision believing that I know what I am doing. Then I enrolled in Filipino Virtual Assistants' freelancing course with Coach Keren. What makes me decide to register was the fact that I wanted to learn. I wanted to acquire other skills and keep up with my children, who know how to navigate the internet deftly than me. I know my fear of venturing into this new field is just a part of anticipating what it would bring to me. But how will I know if I'm not going to try? So I pursued the enrollment and waited over a month before the course would take place.

Embracing My Newfound Journey

Excited for our very first live coaching, I felt my palms sweating and my heart beating erratically. Just so excited and eager to begin this journey. When Coach Keren introduced herself and said that she was a high school graduate when she started her career as a virtual assistant and did not even pursue getting a college degree, I was exuding with amazement. How did she do it? It inspires me to get to know more about this journey. She did it at her very young age, and I think I can do it too because I'm already in my 30's. Our first week of coaching involves our chosen niche. Since my past employment was somehow related to medicines and insurances, Coach Keren help me decided to become a Healthcare Virtual Assistant. And I love it.

Becoming a Healthcare Virtual Assistant

I'm new to freelancing, but I love it. I am still learning many things about this new career and am very glad to meet incredible people, especially Coach Keren. I am now confident in taking in healthcare professionals/providers as my clients to showcase my skills. Assist them in focusing more on their practice, hence having more time to serve their patients. Hiring a healthcare virtual assistant would somehow boost healthcare professionals' schedules to do essential things rather than filing patient records or other administrative tasks. I am here, and I am ready to assist.
